Queen B even enlisted the help of The Dream to produce the new album.
"She's ready to work," Dream said. "She's crazy! She never stops doing anything. I don't know if (pregnancy) is going to slow her down. She's just incredible with doing things, I don't know how she's going to do it, she's just a maniac... in a good way."
Beyonce is nominated for two Grammys, so it will be interesting to see if she performs live at that show.
She also has an acting career, which should jumpstart again now that she's had the child. She was supposed to co-star with Clint Eastwood in "A Star Is Born," a remake of a film about a young singer who falls in love with a spiraling, fading rock star. That was put on hold once her pregnancy was revealed, with Eastwood then signing up for "The Trouble With the Curve." Presumably, once that finishes, "A Star Is Born" .
Beyonce has spoken for the first time about her newly born daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
The singer, who gave birth to her and Jay-Z's first child earlier this month, said being a mother is the best experience.
According to UK Star magazine, Beyonce said: 'Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found.'
He would not have missed it for anything. He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature. He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him.
He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father.'
'He will change diapers, of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father. He has already said publicly that providing isn’t love.
'Love is being there. Love is doing the little things for your child.'
The singer also spoke about rumours that the couple rented out the entire fourth floor for the event, spending a total of $1.3 million whilst all cameras in the hospital were covered and staff were required to hand over their mobile devices.
'Everybody who we wanted to see her, saw her.
'Security was very tight, but not just for the sake of it, it was for the security of our daughter'.
